He has produced and acted in three Hollywood movies and has been working on another one in Louisiana. He also does a mean impersonation of Elvis! He joins us today to talk about how he balances these two different passions. 4:50 pm Atul Vir was forced to become an entrepreneur when he arrived in Houston 30 years ago. He founded Equator Appliances which was very successful in making combo washer-dryers, but then had to shutter it 7 years ago. He has brought Equator back with a vengeance and branched out to manufacture many other items. Here he is to tell us about the company’s journey. 5:20 pm Rohini Rege is a Houston-born musician classically trained in voice and piano and has recently became a songwriter too. She has released two singles “Aimless” and “This is Me Growing”. She joins us now from Austin, where she lives.
