This year has been extra special as the IAA embarked on a plan to bring newer and upcoming talent - beginning with two-time Grammy winner Ricky Ken - to draw in a younger audience. Executive Director Sheetal Bedi explains more about the IAA and it’s plans. 4:40 pm Shazia Husain took a chance during the height of the COVID pandemic last year at remodeling a large Mediterranean style villa in Katy into a captivating wedding and party venue. Now, less than a year later, her gamble has paid off as the Palm Royal Villa is very much in demand and bookings are solid. She joins us to talk about all the services offered and the plans for the future. 5:00 pm Asha Kaul is a volunteer with the Isha Foundation which is holding the Save Soil Walkathon tomorrow from 6am to 11am at Sugar Land Towne Square to bring attention to the issue of soil conservation. It is a campaign started by Sadhguru to create awareness about soil degradation and bring policies to safeguard soil health. Asha explains more about these concepts. 5:20 pm As the saying goes, those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. The current situation in Eastern Europe has a striking similarity to the events that unfolded from 1919 to 1939 in World War I in Europe, according to history buff Gautum Sinha, who joins us now to explain in more detail.
