There are those investment advisors like Randhir Sahni who have spent a lifetime helping others build up their accounts for all those major moments in life, like financing high school and college educations, paying for elaborate weddings, buying a home and most important of all, living comfortably in retirement. Randhir has built a huge portfolio of accounts he manages and agreed to share his wealth of knowledge with our listeners. 4:50 pm Among large American cities, Houston is fortunate to have many works of art exhibited all across town, especially sculptures – like along Allen Parkway – and murals – like in the Est End. We even have pieces on display the Intercontinental Airport, like the one of former President George H. W. Bush and the playful art cows and astronaut in two terminals. But the Aquarius Art Tunnel – 240 ft long, 24 ft wide and 10 ft high – connecting Terminals D & E that opened late last year is a visually unique experience for travelers to immerse themselves in. We are fortunate to be joined by artist Janavi Mahimtura Folmsbee who will tell us more about her imaginative installation.   5:20 pm If necessity is the mother of invention, then having a backer get your start up off the ground is the lubricant that is so essential for all entrepreneurs to get their businesses going. That’s the role that The IndUS Entrepreneurs, a 31-year-old non-profit organization, plays in making access easier for Indo Americans to make their ideas a reality by offering education, mentorship, networking and funding opportunities, We are joined today by member Sammy Haroon who will tell us more about TiE and its upcoming gala on November 2 at the Junior League, featuring Hotmail founder Sabeer Bhatia. 5:20 pm Houston Mayoral race candidate Shiels Jackson Lee joins us for a brief interview TO BE FEATURED ON THE SHOW, OR TO ADVERTISE, PLEASE CONTACT US AT 713-789-6397 or at [email protected] Please pick up the print edition of Indo American News which is available all across town at grocery stores.
