Ice Biking
from CrankMyChain! Cycle TV · host PDXK Productions
BOSTON, Mass. - I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to post a bike video by Acclaimed bike videographer Lucas Brunelle. Perhaps, jealousy? Nah. Just laziness. But, this cold snap we are in here in Portland kept reminding me of this video as I have been walking the kids to school. I don't think the Willamette River is any danger of freezing up like yet but it's fun to imagine. If you have not seen this video (produced in 2002) it it's a real treat with some kick ass music by the band The Police. I miss the Police. Are they just to old and famous to make music like this anymore? I digress. Here is the text from Brunelle's site. In a rare chain of weather patterns the Charles River froze over to form a perfect surface for raging around on bikes - watch us speed down this frozen river in the middle of the city.
