ICE, ICE, Maybe
from Bald, Blind, and Buddies Hosted by Timothy Cordes and John Boland
On this episode, we discuss the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions and riots in Los Angeles. First, we address Father’s Day. We offer brief thoughts on Original Sin by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson. John wonders if “reporters” are doing their job by waiting for lucrative book deals to publish important information. John gives us more baseball trivia. We discuss the riots in Los Angeles. John implies that the fact ICE is active in Los Angeles means this is politically motivated. He wonders who will benefit, ultimately. Tim is tired of the term ‘mostly peaceful’ protests. He draws a contrast with the nonviolent protests of Gandhi and Dr. King. John’s whack-job, Rep. Maxine Waters, tries to tell you not to believe your eyes. Tim’s hero, Tom Felton, is guilty of honesty and gratitude.
