He's cheesing away. He's got a Shirley Temple ready for his Buckeyes this week Bear. Look how happy our producer is. Sorry for giving people a bad visual, even though we're an audio only podcast.

Look at that guy. He couldn't be happier right now. He's just so excited that his beloved Buckeyes and then the big 10 is back. If you can figure out a way to be at the shoe on Saturday, I'm sure he will.

It's funny. A lot of the big 10 previews you're reading for this week, I found it pretty interesting that the previews I read it the most that had the biggest quote where the brass was in the brassicide saying very fortunate that there won't be a hundred thousand at the shoe. There will be close to 1600 there as they are allowing family and friends. So I feel like, you know, Nebraska, I feel like building themselves up a little bit, you know, knowing that they don't have to deal with that rock is proud that we usually get on a Saturday at the show.

I was really affected by the fans last year when they went to Lincoln and the game was over about six minutes in. That was it. That was quick. That was that was ugly.

So we got plenty of things to get to the big 10 lines that stink three things. You think you know about about the big 10 I want to do your game day predictions, which are four and all last week. What was it? Herbie picked Georgia another three pick Bama.

Correct. This week we got it's a little bit easier. I only got to get to write this week. Okay.

Okay. I picked the game because he's calling it. Well, he can but he won't. Michigan could be playing the Kansasan Chiefs in depth.

Michigan. So I just got to try and get David and I got to try and get com. So it's going to be a little harder though. That is probably feeling good.

Like this is the first Michigan game you guys probably been at where the lines on, you know, their favorite. Yeah, that's cool. You know, so he's probably going to go. So high so high state games and I had to stay out of Penn State.

Yeah, we didn't work out too well. All right. We talked plenty about our shot to clear us last week and, you know, being ranked and who shouldn't be ranked and who they should be ranked ahead of. So that gets us to a conversation we want to get to with fan base that is not ranked that thinks they should be.

But first, seeing how we got to it last week and had some fun. And smelled out some things. We got to get to some lines that smell like manure. Because there are plenty.

I really appreciate you and Van Pelt texting us on Sunday and Monday nights, letting us know where the aroma is coming from as we're getting ready for our shows. So keep those texts coming. But I will hand this off to you. You look.

I mean, we usually go back and forth. Have you seen circa post any numbers yet? No, I think it's been close to like three Eastern or maybe that's like the first time I'm able to. Yeah, I think it's right.

I think three Eastern is usually a writer at two or three Eastern. I was when I was back after this guy's last year when they did the opener. It's around two Eastern. I think somewhere around there.

Starting with that are our shot declares. What we got minus six, six and a half six. Six out loud stinks out loud. Finally ranked feeling of accomplishment.

You go on the road to Lafayette beat Louisiana and you see that number to your left. When you pull up the score score page and you see that com it says 25 or whatever. They're ranked right now. That's bad.

It's great for a program like also Carolina to be ranked, but it's bad because now there's a target on you. Remember a couple of years ago when Appalachian State nearly beat Penn State in the state college and they ripped off all those wins and they got ranked like their first game as a ranked team was against George Southern and George Southern kicked a crap out of them. And yeah, this game is in Charleston. I think it's technically Conley, right?

It's technically what Costa Carolina is. Yeah, I say technically Conley is where they are. OK, but this is a this number is bad. I mean, George Southern's a good team.

They nearly beat Louisiana down. If you're not going to go, we're looking at a couple of very, very comparable teams there. That number at six, six and a half a win by seven and you cover. Go ahead and lay the six or six.

That one smells like that stiff breeze and in Champaign, or battle when you got the manure coming from the cow pasture field across that drive. There's a very, very, very good chance that Georgia Southern will show up in the column and maybe even on the board on Saturday. I like it. I like it.

And I just like to approach both teams are have here. We mentioned the Schatzkler's national TV against Louisiana and then basically Georgia Southern got a scrimmage last week against UMass. Sure looked at that one closer. That was that was pretty easy 41.

Nothing shy works as the guy for for Georgia Southern. This is his 40th career start, I think, but he's gone for over 2,600 career. Russian yards. I think that's the most active of any FBS quarterback.

So be careful. Shot declares what else, uh, wreaks like manure to you. I think this BC, uh, Georgia Tetiline stinks out loud. Jim, you got BC, but what one of the two teams lose by last week about one, oh, one 13 to like 20 or something like that.

You got a team that gave up 73 to try the best or if not, the best one, the two best three three teams in the country. You got BC, you finally the turnover, the turnover bug we talked about last week. Can't win that way being relying on it. And they finally turned it over five times, but they're still improved.

Now they're going home against this team that gave up 70 last week after getting blown out on their own. They're only laying three that stinks out loud and it takes a little bit of a decimal fortitude to be able to go up and say, okay, give me that team. I gave up 73 last week. I want that boy.

It sure looks like Georgia Tech might be the right side. I have a feeling we're going to see both of the two teams that we just mentioned, pop up on Thursday night on SportsCenter, which got bad built. Oh, all right. I like what you're saying.

I think we're going to get to another one too that you had on the chain. But I'll tell you one thing. I thought Georgia Tech was going to be an under team this year, you know, meaning low score in games. Uh-uh, 73, seven, four million times to 73, seven, 46, 27, 37, 20, 49, 21.

Those are the scores of their games. So it is, is not what Collins, I think, has wanted to, to bring in with his, you know, defensive mindset, but Sims is, is a, he's shown flashes as a true freshman. So you're going to get that. He's got six touchdown passes, nine picks on the season, trying to compare the, the attempts.

Yeah, Jerkovic has 203 attempts and Sims is 132. That's a, I mean, if you want to look into it because BC is in there, they're, they're share of high scoring games too. That over might be a play there unless they both play, you know, to their comp. I mean, we got more tape on each other.

We know how BC is wanting to come out and throw the ball more. So that, that over under 55 and a half is pretty interesting. I see 54. So 54 and a half out there.

Okay. This game can't be 31, 24. Oh, definitely. Definitely.

I just am amazed watching Boston College. You know, many times they throw the ball, knowing what they've been for so long. Uh, one of the lines I think is going to be on winners is in the big 10. And that is the Hawkeyes minus three, three and a half at West Lafayette against Boiler up.

It's a lot going on here. Jeff Romm is not going to coach. He's got COVID. He's, I mean, and he's talked about the symptoms.

He's got them all not like coach Saban. His brother Brian Romm, I believe is the quarterbacks coach, the offensive coordinator. He's going to act as a head coach and call the plays Iowa breaking in a new court, new quarterback. We know they lost worse in, uh, epinece to the draft.

They do have a lot of rejection. The stud left out, I believe he's going to go back to left tackle. I think I saw this year, but you know what you're getting with Iowa. You can make the case in the Michigan, uh, Minnesota receiver, Bateman or Rondale Moore, those are your probably your two most productive big 10 active receivers.

I would think, um, I know somebody is going to come up with somebody from Ohio state and get mad at me, but those are the two guys that come to mind when I think of playmakers in the conference and I've just pumped to see Rondale more back on the field. But a lot going on. I thought Iowa will be given more here. You I thought December might be a little bit bigger per do might have even opened up to favor.

And I think the line swung towards Iowa, basically, probably on the news of Jeff Romm being ill. This is a hard game for me because if you look at Purdue, you go back the last two years, 2018, 2019, and no power five team has more losses in games decide about four points or fewer than the Boilermakers. That's a, uh, an only way that they typically find a way to lose these close games, whereas Iowa is completely opposite. We can talk about trends mattering.

Do they matter? Do they not, especially in a year like this? But if you go back, Iowa has won 13 straight games in which it was a favor a fewer than six points. So like these 50 50 games that they are expected to win, they do.

I don't know those 13 games. They were favored by by three and a half or less. So like these close games were trying to try and make a case. We're taking a small dog at home against Iowa.

Typically, Ferrence, he builds a game plan and the way his team is built, they win these types of games. So that's like a trend in a situation that I do think matters because you do have a program consistency. You have the same head coach. You've got players that develop and come through that program that are installed and you built that way.

So it's a key and a kick when close games versus a team that can't win close games. So if I had to play the game, I would lean towards playing maybe just Iowa, money lie, especially if it's three and a half, I would lean towards the maybe just plain Iowa money. But it wouldn't shock me to see Purdue win at the same time. And maybe some of that close game law.

They've been locking the last couple years, finally changes. And we can talk more about Purdue later in the podcast. We got another thing we want to discuss as well later on. It's all I'll leave it at that.

It was both Polini, by the way, the last in Nebraska in 2014 and 37, 34 game. What Polini the last head coach to upset Iowa when the Hawkeyes were favored by the touchdown. Oh, positive. Bo Polini talk.

Not going to fall out. He's been down so much the last few weeks. I thought that too, because I was kind of mean last week when I said, unless he was not even playing this week in their defense looks even worse. Oh, seeing what Mississippi State did offensively against saying.

And so I was kind of, I was kind of on call towards, I'll get Bo Polini shot by saying it. What's the correct to vote? That was kind of like me with the Braves last night too. I tweeted out that.

But that was awesome. Could I catch that home run? I caught it. That was awesome.

That was good. Played Dodgers. It was great last week. Hopefully people listened early enough and we're able to get down on that.

Dodger series price reaction. I got people got down on it. People are listening to the people are liking the Bears baseball picks. Yeah, I played the Dodgers for the series beforehand and I played playing again.

Back to the lines that Greek. So this game just reeks because I don't want to watch it, but I can't understand anything about it. It is your Rutgers at East Lansing. Party minus 13 over under 44 and a half thoughts.

The state University of New Jersey, like who wants to lay 13 point with Michigan State? I mean, seriously, you want to lay that? No, I sure as hell wouldn't. Like, again, it's a number set there under 14 points.

Oh, record state, they're terrible. They've lost 20 straight big 10 games or whatever it is. But like, Michigan State isn't good. Nothing still have Rocky Lombardi still a quarterback.

And like, I don't know that I don't think they have any playmakers. And maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm not wrong. Maybe some guys develop.

But I think you look at the state University of New Jersey. You've actually handled back there now. You've got a million transfers coming in. A federal from Nebraska is probably going to be their quarterback.

Crookshank, the wide receiver from Wisconsin is there. They got a bunch of guys who came in and defensively at times last year, they played OK. Like, obviously, by the end of the year, when they were completely broken down, their defense had given up. But there have been moments in the last couple of years where under underash, their defense played kind of well.

But like, I would certainly be on the state University of New Jersey in this game. But the line at less than 14 sitting right there at 13 is a siren for me. And I think there's a chance that that that's lunch could be one of the, I don't want to say one of the most improved teams in the country in this year. But I think kind of like we were shocked by Arkansas, like how well that the coaching change and the impact transfers kind of impact the tech team and the positive light.

Like, I think a similar type of thing could be happening on the banks of the raretans. I think that team can maybe steal a couple of wins this year in the big 10. You like over one and a half. I saw a one and a half hosted for Rutgers.

Let's give them a win dog. How about that? Let me know. All right.

Here's one thing. While you're pulling that up, going back to Rutgers last year, if you take away the win over UMass where they scored 48 and the win where they scored 44 over Liberty, there's no way they averaged more than seven points a game. Seriously, go back and look 0-16-0-7-0-7-10-21-0-6. 21, who this is where 21 against left?

Ohio State. That would be that makes sense. Here we go. Michigan State.

I think they can win the game. Okay. Home versus Indiana. Depending on what happens this week in Bloomington, maybe Indiana will be if they win, it could be a little bit of a letdown spot.

Or if Indiana loses, maybe Indiana is a little disappointed. Maybe Indiana doesn't do any things and they blow a game and maybe they feel a little letdown and maybe they could be on upset alert. They're not winning. They're taking Rutgers next week.

Got it. Maybe not next week. Maybe they'll take it on this week. I won.

I'm going to take it on this week. They're not going to win a Columbus. Illinois. Illinois is a big one.

They can beat Lubbies team. Yes, that's the one. In Piscataway. Michigan, they have played well.

I don't think they're going to be Michigan in there. At Purdue, you're not going to win that game. A home road game versus Penn State. Probably won't win that one.

But they played well. They played Penn State pretty tough last year. Yeah. That was surprisingly tough.

I still think there's a big tackle and then and then they go down to the snake pit and play the dirty turf. Say they could win that game. There are one, two, three. I see four winnable games for the State University of New Jersey.

Four games that I think they could win. Wow. Well, will they know? But I think it's too as possible.

Okay. All right. This is your Rutgers football report brought to you by the New Jersey Turnipite Print Metro Transit and all association. Penn State, Indiana.

That's kind of smell. Indiana. Indiana. Indiana.

Well, excuse me. I'm sorry. That smells. Again, this line.

Yeah. This line again, it reeks to to hold it. You know what? Again, six and a half with a road, right team, favorite.

Like I think this is going to be a bold statement. I think yes. What quarterback running back combination would you rather have in this game? Sean Clifford and and Kane because remember, Johnny Brandt's out or Penix and Stevie Scott.

I think Penn State would probably make that trade for Pennix and Stevie Scott. Don't you? I think Indiana has an advantage. The court.

You know, okay. I know. But this is a Penn State's a loyal school program. Oh, I know they are.

Penn State was one of my first loves in college football and we're fans of James Franklin and and and the staff and bringing in a Kurtzoraka from Minnesota. I don't know if it's a coordinator, but he's got some things to figure out and work on. I think right now, I just touched on Johnny Brown, not there. Michael Parsons, he's opting out.

He's probably the biggest opt out in the lead. That's going to affect a team. No KJ Hamler at wide receiver. This is a really young wide receiver group now.

They're going to be right front. And we've obviously a great tight end. Yeah. I think they got it.

But there's some things to potentially worry about this weekend. And I think the last couple of years Indiana has given them a ton of problems. And it would not surprise me again if this was a very close game, but I mean, we just have to, I guess, come to expect Indiana to do Indiana things and find a way to lose a game like they did in the ball game last year. I'm pretty sure that myself and the tall ball van will be on Indiana.

Sounds, sounds appropriate. A couple others I want to get to that I think Rieck why Baylor getting nine and a half from Texas. And that number has come down to, I think. Has it?

And then why is it costing eight and a half out there? I see something. Eight and a half of my bad. I still see nine and a half William Hill.

OK. And why is TCU getting seven? Yeah, I see six and a half. I don't want to spend enough time on these teams because I think the way more important this week but you can have Texas and Oklahoma giving those points.

I don't want anything to do with that. And also, how does South Kakalaka respond after a huge win over Auburn, who I still have not heard from anyone this week? No, they're not. I don't see a number next to them.

Their line's kind of reiki. Oh, that kind of sticks a little bit too. We can touch on that in a bit because I think it might be official there. But LSU giving seven now off of everything.

The way the season started, South Carolina comes in off a great way and getting a touchdown. That's it. That's it. South Carolina's got some guys, man.

And no miles running. South Carolina's got some guys on defense. Joe Hornson is phenomenal. He has a great game last week.

Yeah. And then five big boy that detack I like him a lot. So that I think we'll get us through the lines that reiki. I got one more.

Oh, yeah. One more. Go ahead. Yeah.

Yeah. You see, Oklahoma, you look at Oklahoma. Again, another team that is really struggling. They're three and 11 against the number, unless 14 names, which maybe hits a little bit of being overvalued.

But I think they're overvalued here. If anything, it's kind of we're going to undervalue them a little bit because we're not too sure. But again, we talked about Purdue being a team that really has won close games. Like if you look at TCU, last 10 names decided by a touchdown, unless it's too late.

Oh, yeah. That team that you'd be surprised with Gary Patterson that typically is good in both some upsets, but the regression has come there. But I think there's one other game out there that kind of reeks. And it's North Carolina, North Carolina state, 16 and 1.5.

Like, oh, why is it that big? North Carolina just lost a Florida state and NC State's four and one or whatever they are. Again, you got to remember NC State lost, clearly, and who they'd be pit who was out of Tennessee to lose games. They'd be Virginia when Virginia lost Armstrong in that game, right?

I don't know. I'm a little skeptical on NC State. And like, OK, but it's ranked versus ranked. Why is the number this big?

Like, I went back and looked. This is like my data mining, load of the week. If you go back the last three years in ranked games between teams ranked 11 through 25. So we take top 10 against other ranked teams that are ranked in that bottom part of the top 25, 11 through 25, three games in the last three years where you've had a spread greater than 14 points.

And all three of them, the favorite, blew out the underdog. Last year Utah was a 15 point favorite over Arizona State. And they won 21, three two years ago. And remember that Washington BYU game where I think you and I both love Washington.

They were minus 18 over that BYU team that had just beaten Wisconsin. Huskies blown out. And then 2017 Ohio State was a massive favorite over ranked Michigan State team that was ranked 13th in the country at the 43. So like, don't be afraid to lay the big number, even though it's ranked versus ranked.

I think North Carolina is probably the right side here. I like to over a net game. If I was going to bet that game, I think both. I think Maxine come out and try and put one on them, knowing that they are rivals.

And NC State just always has that little brother mentality. So they're never going to stop. They played in some high scoring games this season. So I've had that number circle.

I'm not sure if it'll make a big mic. Happy recap. But when I look at that game, I do expect points. I know last year or year before I was trying to give people an over early to start today.

So maybe that's a noon kick. Maybe that'll be a little over there. A little nooner where the offenses are ahead of the defenses. All right.

I don't think we need our freshman for anything else. I think we're good. Nope. I do.

There are games I want to talk about that are important this week. But let's do your game day predictions. You're going to be in. Real boat skymond.

Go gophers. So you'll be there. Weather? Weather is an issue there?

Hold. Hold. It's been snowing there all week. Yeah.

I think we're going to have some maybe florries maybe during the game. I think it's going to be in the 30s. Maybe even like maybe potentially the 20s. How many personal haters is Ruleman have?

Does he only have the desk and then you get stalker now? Oh, of course. It's OK because I'll have an electric blanket. I look in the closet.

We did have that. I had my winter coat and my gloves and my hat stole there because we boxed up a lot of stuff. We put it in storage. I'm getting ready to move so that I do have appropriate winter gear for the weekend.

So between that and the electric. Is it out in that weather? Yeah. That's the biggest problem I have.

I might have to see if I can run to the store. My pair of computer safe gloves from overuse. They finally dead some. Because I pull like the Michael Jackson with the one glove.

There you go. It just looks like that's the thing. We have this discussion about the difference between coal and heat. While I'm an absolute sweaty mess like I was in Miami.

It's like a fan on cool up. Like the coal, the computer. No catching up on the coal. You break the computer because it gets frozen.

You got one hand to touch the mousepad, one hand in a glove. Just running those. Give me hot over ice cold fridge. We had an Alabama last week was perfect.

It was like mid 50s. It was great. It was a high of 33 on Saturday. I'm saying.

What are we looking at for eight AM? Oh. Hour by hour. Hockey with a plus.

Efforting. Speaking of last week, what was going on? You guys trying to take shots at your car? Yeah.

What's all that about? I was going to say, what did I do wrong? You should have seen the space that I had to park into. Like the edge of the curve and the bars.

It was a Dodge Charger. I drive a bigger vehicle. I'm like, I'm like, I mean, it's like a matchbox car. You got the better.

I find out now I'm glad he did catch policy. You know, we've run it over the post there. That was that was scary. But I thought I'd get okay back in it to that based on like, wearing that four street walking and Reese walking.

And I'm a security guy like waving me the back in like, he's getting out of my way. I see you know, I have a rear view camera. I'm good. I know what I'm doing.

But like, Paul, on the other hand, I'm not going to turn. I'm just going to angle in and nearly take out the post there. Like, I can take it. All right.

You're looking around high 20s there. Perfect. He's calling the game. Correct.

You went for it all last week. Who do you think? Des is going to pick Michigan. Right.

I guess you'll get to know that before. Des will pick Michigan. So I got to worry about Pollock and I got to worry about coach coach for. It's got to be the first time in a while that you've gone to a game of Michigan is a favorite.

You guys were not Michigan under name last year, were you? No, and I think Notre Dame closes the favor. Oh, yeah. Your name is in the closest small favor and I know we look like Michigan.

I am going to say Pollock will pick Michigan. He's going to say Michigan with the secondary. Okay. And the new the new quarterback in Milton and Charbonay running the ball.

I think he's going to say Michigan wins a close one. Okay. And for some reason coach seems to have a tendency to pick against the Michigan a lot. Okay.

And even though he's not on set in Minnesota, I think he's going to go for his. Even though the gophers burned him last year when he picked Minnesota to beat Wisconsin for the acts, I think he's going to double up and come back with Minnesota. Give him a second chance. I think we're going to go Pollock Michigan coach Minnesota.

All right. Bonus game day question. When's the last time you guys had a show where Saban or Dabo did not appear live on the show? Well, that's a good idea.

I should maybe add that up. You gotta look that up. You have that column in my in my game day database where I have all of all the games and the head gear and spreads and all the history. Like that should be a new addition.

I should add the column to have a yes, no, and who it was. Maybe we can get one of the one of the one of the the assistants on the show to look up or get someone run through the old front down and see. Yeah, get around on that. He's not doing much.

Is he? No, no, he went to Virginia. He's cultural. Doesn't matter there.

You can figure out a way to manipulate a database and he's a way to go through the video server quicker than you were. All right, that's for sure. Time for some big 10 predictions. Are you ready?

I'm ready. All right. Give me three things you think will you think you know about the big 10. It can be whatever you want, but just you know, it's the last it's second to last conference.

We don't have anything to go off of. But three things you think you know about the big 10. Number one, the gap between Ohio State and the rest of the big 10 is just as big as the gap between Clemson and the rest of the ACC. Wow.

Okay. What do you think about that? I don't agree with it. You don't agree with it.

No, I know what you're saying, but I still think Clemson's way more ahead. That's just I don't be curious to see what the spread is next week. Ohio State at Penn State is we think Penn State is the second best team in the big 10 and they have them on their own field. That's probably going to be what working with no crowd.

It's got to be. It's double digits. You look at Clemson at home against Miami and that was 15. Curious.

Okay. Number two, Purdue will be most improved team in the big 10 this year. And this week notwithstanding, I think that you look at more and Bell that the wide receivers that they've lost, they lost a ton of games due to injury last year. I think the way that they've recruited and the coaching staff being there that they have I think Purdue like before the year they were like the most confident team I had in terms of a wind tunnel.

But obviously those wind totals are now are now gone. But I think we're going to expect to see a lot of them from Purdue and they are a team that potentially could challenge in that big 10 West for a spot in the big 10 championship game. I like it. There's till and a half right now posted by sports betting.

Wow. I can jump all over that one. Yeah. Three and a half.

Let me thank you. Rutgers at home. I got Nebraska at home, Adil and Oin with you should win all three of those games. And then you have Northwestern like they're only three and a half.

That's what it says. You tell me you've mean Northwestern homes, functioned home Nebraska at home and I have Illinois cash that doesn't even count like beating up potentially beating Iowa at home or when in the bucket. Okay. All right, why don't you let me know if you have access to said I'm trying to protect right now to see if they have access to it.

I have a I have a betting question about these overs does it count the plus one game that always makes teams will get no no it does not okay no with this time we schedule as is the way the way that the way that they do it. Number three State University of New Jersey will win two games this year love it love it. I asked for vampel for one on his podcast yesterday Baron he just said Ohio State's better than everybody and they're not going to lose a game. That's that's and then we're gonna rain about the conference.

Oh yes he did. It is. He's not happy. He's he wants he wants he wants Illinois on Maryland scheduled they haven't played him yet.

And he said I don't I know. Is that just like I you can see once Maryland like get a win out of like a lot revenge for locks. That's what it is. Maybe maybe I was thinking along your line.

I like I like your your Ohio State. I was gonna say I thought Penn State or Wisconsin would be closer to Ohio State than anybody else in is to Clemson the AC but I don't want to do that. I will say this is not really a big prediction. I do think Wisconsin will be in that title game really excited to see Grand Merges the quarterback at Wisconsin sorry to hear about cone in the injury but from what I gather and the idea of Paul Chris with it with an athletic quarterback and what he can do.

I know they got to replace Johnson Taylor and some guys on the offensive line but I don't worry about Wisconsin having replaced guys on the offensive line. I think their defense is gonna be really really good even with the loss of the two guys the two linebackers that went to the NFL. So I like Wisconsin. I will say Iowa wins more than five games.

That's what their number is on this website. I it's just a truss factor there. I just feel like I was so especially you got to you got to go. six got to win this week.

Six to win. That's a hard number eight games that they have to go six and two. If I was when told there were five I would be like playing under because I'm six and two is hard. Like you know when it Penn State I we got to push.

I think there's a better chance they go forward for than 62. Okay, but five and three feels like the most likely outcome. Six and two I think is slim. I think they'll lose a Penn State and they'll probably lose to Penn State's the big one.

I should say that Minnesota's a big one. They should be three now. I'm not certainly one this week. Okay.

I mean they typically do I gave those great numbers before but I'm not you never want to single handily bet a game because of a trend. Okay. I'd be careful there but I wouldn't go over five. I'd be a stay away.

I don't get access to this. You can fly four and a half by that to four and a half and they'll be able to choose and then maybe that got you some consider. Okay. Minnesota will finish with a better record than Michigan.

I'm taking it in a crowd in Michigan might win this game but I just feel like the truss factor there with black versus Harbaugh is funny. I saw Harbaugh says a great team to coach. I can't wait to see that first throw at a headphones Saturday night and think about the quote that he said that this team is so much fun to coach. It just gets a little predictable sometimes.

So I just I feel like Minnesota will we talked about Bateman Morgan trust that process that he has built up in Minneapolis. So that's a little big 10 thoughts just to give something. Hopefully people have access to those numbers. Anything that's definitely going to be on the board.

I think there's a really really really good chance of the N'll be on the board. Okay. I think there's a really good chance of the State University of New Jersey will be on the board. I think there's a good chance North Carolina will be on the board.

Okay. There's only three spots on the board. I know. I know.

I'm just talking out loud. Those are the ones that seem to stand out the most to be right now. Your rice plate we were talking about earlier. Yeah.

And that's kind of a feeling. Did I mention that? Yeah. Or was that before I started?

That was before we started. That's why I mentioned earlier. You have you have me intrigued by intrigued by that. Okay.

Here's the deal. We know what middle Tennessee is. I really don't want to talk about last week's picks because I'm still really mad at West Virginia's kick cover team. And I understand it wasn't a bad beat.

What a way for Pukaloyans to end his career. You can't go down 10 nothing to Kansas. You can't do it. And West Virginia did it.

Claude all the way back and we got a couple of things to lost and UCF. Come on. Stop going forward. I'm fourth down all the time, please.

And if you'll go as do let up if you if you kick more than one, I'll just I'll just say that to field goals is six points. Just what a touchdown to some people out there that want to go for two and and go forward. I'm fourth down every single time. But you know, we can't have a conversation with those people as Scott says because they just there's no conversation to be had.

So anyway about that week and North Texas was our winner against middle Tennessee. Middle Tennessee is is not a good football team this year. We've talked about this. North Texas ran for 462 yards on the ground and the Blue Raiders from Murphy'sboro have given up over 240 yards or more and four the six games they've played.

Rice comes out fresh, got a transfer quarterback, Michael Collins from TCU. I believe he's a local Connecticut kid and you know, we know what Coach Blumgren likes to do from the old Stanford days. I could see Rice just having the ball the whole game and running for four yards a clip and just keeping middle off the field. So I like Rice in this spot.

I talked about last week when we had Holgerson on the middle might be a little worn out from these from these beatings they're taken week after week and Rice has to be a little fired up with momentum they got after last year and knowing that they've upgraded their talent here this year. I like Rice this weekend. That's definitely one of my picks this week for sure. We never did answer the question that we first posed at the start of the pond which was the angriest team and base.

I think that they should rank that they're not. I don't know if I'm going to get to it about 45 minutes later. Do you think they're even more mad now that they had to wait to see if they're involved? But maybe we did that on purpose and I didn't even realize maybe that was your plan all along.

Maybe I think it's Memphis. I think Memphis I mean I don't think Memphis fans are really angry though. So maybe that's not that mean I think that the most obvious being that you get to be you see up last week and you play SMU talk. I don't know.

Can I throw Arkansas into it? I think they're mad but they want to be because they're I think they're mad about the Auburn game which would have them at three and one. Question is who's the most upset? Iowa fans are probably mad that they're not ranked in Iowa State is ranked which I don't think they get mad.

Then they're like oh we don't even worry about them. They're not in the conference. I got more hate mail from or hate tweets from my offense about my Iowa State pick than anybody out there. Boy they get out there.

You see the great thing about Auburn is now like they were mad last week about like I was saying that they shouldn't be right. Now they're either team and they get their coach. Now they're with us. So they've done the complete 180 in two weeks.

Stand out. I'm gonna say it's Oklahoma. Yeah okay I'll buy that. I'm gonna say it's Oklahoma just because they have a right.

It's probably the right. So uh sorry for being mad. Well speaking of Auburn you talked about that line being poopy. Did you have a play on a on the lean train there or no?

I mean I'm looking at they have a common opponent in Woopig and we know what happened with against Auburn with Arkansas and Ole Miss I'm not here to take any away from Arkansas. Corral did throw six interceptions. So much for those SEC defense being bad huh? Yeah and the look on Lane's face the exasperation that he showed on most of those was just like that's not why I called that play.

Like what the hell are you looking at and so I'm really interested to see that I didn't get the chance to watch that game back but I mean I saw a couple of the interceptions that Arkansas had. I mean it's just guys full breaking on the ball and it's like Corral doesn't even see him coming and you could see him coming you know from the vantage point where you're watching the game. So I would think Corral has to play better. I just don't know what to make of Auburn.

Like we keep talking it feels like we talk about the Bonex and Herbie Breakdown Bonex a couple weeks ago but it's just the running around and just that offense man if you can't run between the tackles it just feels like it takes away so much you know it takes away it takes away from being so dynamic when we've seen it where they have a running back and they could go between the tackles. So I would I think Ole Miss might be worth playing here I'm not sure if they're an official pick but I could see having Ole Miss because I mean they moved the ball last week on Arkansas they just Corral just made some bad decisions so he has to be better. A couple other games I just wanted to touch on I can't believe I guess it's in the Smelly category but like Louisville looking what they've looked like and then Florida stayed off and went in North Carolina. All everything I've read is that Travis is going to play.

No plus five and a half. I can say why it's going to happen too. That over is intriguing. Louisville not no offense.

There's no defense there. Yeah I know that's what I'm saying I like the over there. I also shows you how limited Notre Dame is offensively they just don't have any guys I could separate in the secondary after watching too much of that game. So you're Irish they had one of the worst yards per like in terms of it.

It was David Halton tweeted that early. They're there they're they're are yards per attempt in terms of completion. It's just rural. That's good enough to beat who they beat thus far but that's not going to cut it two weeks against Clemson that's not going to cut it into North Carolina and BC and might not even cut it this week against against against against against pit pre-seasoned bull prediction he's got pit over Notre Dame.

I want to see how that goes. We didn't have a month this week. We did not. I think George Southern might make the the column tomorrow too.

I look at the over and know how a state game as a possible play. I don't think we talked about this. I can be much stopping in two games. I just want to mention because I want to get your thoughts on because I think they're two most important and intriguing games this week.

Ready? Mm-hmm. Cincinnati plus two and a half at SMU. Big implications.

Yep. And Iowa State plus three and a half at Stillwater. Those two games are to me the most important games of the whole slate this weekend. I am looking forward to watching both of those games.

I have my doubts on I shouldn't say doubts. Suspicions I guess would be the appropriate word on Cincinnati. I'm not sure really how good they are. Cincinnati.

Right number nine at 16 SMU nine o'clock Eastern. Yes, me too. Go ahead. Sorry.

You beat what Austin P. You beat Army in a whole home game in the USF who was the worst game in the car. I don't know. SMU I liked you last week and you did get the right when I had questions about whether SMU would be able to do it without Roberson and McNeil.

They're often clearly wasn't a problem. They're offense did not miss a beat. So I'm SMU there. It would probably be the side that I would be.

I think they're going to score points in this game. I would lean towards SMU by the state of choose as well. So you can choose maybe just money like that. Maybe the ponies are the way to go in this game.

I don't know. Did you have a thought or you just run it out there? I would take SMU if they had a healthy Roberson. I talked about it feels like every week.

How much I love that kid and I feel off a form after he came back. He's a difference maker. Yes, it's an I really wanted to see Cincinnati Tulsa because I thought that would show us a lot about what Cincinnati had. So I don't have a take on this game.

I just I'm really interested to watch it because I still want to see what Cincinnati has. You know they're going to score points against SMU because it's immune not that defense. That's strong defensively, but since will Cincinnati be able to score enough and hold down SMU? That's why it's such an interesting matchup to me.

Iowa State plus three and a half at Stillwater. If we got to be able to see Spencer Shandars, you would think by now with all the time off, I think it's down. He's played one series, I think, right? Yeah.

Yeah. Remember when Michigan State went to Oregon way back and Michigan State hung around in Oregon, pulled away late September. Yeah, September game like that felt like the most overanalyzed game that whole season. And I'm starting to feel like I'm starting to feel like Tulsa and Oklahoma State is becoming that game week one that's to overanalyze because there was so much going on.

Like why is it too? But being able to run the ball, Spencer Shandars got hurt is Tulsa any good Tulsa didn't even want their coach, but they couldn't fire him because of financial reasons. Like you got every single storyline out of that game and if you got you got another storyline after that, after that game happened every week. So it's funny.

You talk about Iowa State and it's another week and now that Louisiana lost, you know, you still don't really know the difference makers that weren't on the field for Iowa State against Louisiana. Louisiana hit some huge plays. They haven't hit those huge plays since they played Iowa State and Iowa States played way better since since that that loss. So what do you expect from Iowa State when they go to still water?
