Idaho Vandals Must Rise After Shock Loss | Spokane News

Idaho Vandals took a brutal 38-34 loss to Cal Poly in their season opener — a shocking defeat that left them scrambling before even facing Montana State. Now, they face a massive test against Football Bowl Subdivision power Utah, needing to prove they’re better than last year’s four-win team and still playoff contenders. Their defense was exposed against Cal Poly, giving up yards on both sides of the ball, while the offensive line failed to protect QB Joshua Wood, limiting the run game. Can they tighten up defensively and get the line to step up? A strong showing — even if it’s a loss — could ignite momentum for their crucial homestand. The clock is ticking, and the Vandals need to bounce back fast. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
