Idaho's Star Guard Mitchell Leaves for Ohio

Idahos star point guard, Kolton Mitchell, has committed to Ohio, leaving the Vandals after helping them reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1990. Mitchell, a three-time all-state selection and Lake City Highs career scoring leader, transferred to Idaho after redshirting at Idaho State. His departure follows that of forward Jackson Rasmussen and wing Jack Payne, who also left for other schools. However, Idaho has signed four new players, including guard Kase Wynott and forward Diego Trejo-Delgado, to maintain their momentum.
