Identity in Christ! 9/14/26 WHAT are you MOST identifying yourself with? Is it the culture of yourtown? Is it your gender? Skin Color? ORis it WHO JESUS has made us to be in Him? Today we look at the In Christ realities of:Being a new Creation 2 Cor. 5:17Having a job to do, Eph. 2:10Being the Righteousness of God in your hometown.Being salt and lightServing the body from within the body.We also talk about how within the framework of who we are in Christ, some are also given ministry gifts, eph, 4 of pastor, prophet, apostle, teacher, evangelist. They are given to both men and women and each gift is called to serve in a unique location and function, no two are exactly the same.We also talk about how we have to stay close to the Lord and not be moved by how the body does or does not respond to us.It took 14 years for the church to welcome Paul. Joseph's brothers betrayed and sold him, David was loved and seen as a national hero while the people seemed to tend to complain against Moses.We need to be careful to continue to grow in identifying with In Christ realities and who God has called us to be, more than we identify with our natural birth circumstances or the towns we may live in.But, we live in Victory every day by living out of who we are, what we have and what we can do.
