Identity & Origin

from HOPE Sermons · host HOPE Church

Sunday Service: August 25, 2024 • Pastor Jason Choi at HOPE Church in Clarksville, MD --- Pastor Jason's sermon explores the importance of understanding our identity and origin in relation to God. He uses the biblical story of Naaman to illustrate that true healing and alignment with God come from bringing our emptiness and leaving behind our past, rather than relying on our own accomplishments. Emphasizing that God defines our identity, he stresses that we must run to God with our flaws rather than trying to fix ourselves first. By understanding that God was present at the beginning and defines our purpose, we can find our true identity and direction.
