Identity : Hidden Baggage

IDENTITY: HIDDEN BAGGAGE Matthew 12:44 A Word by The Bible Simplified There’s a danger in being cleaned but not filled. In this episode, we dive deep into the subtle traps of hidden baggage — wounds, habits, and strongholds we often ignore or conceal behind smiles and “I’m okay’s.” Jesus speaks in Matthew 12:44 of a house swept clean but empty… and the return of what once was — seven times stronger. Could this be why we feel stuck, repeating cycles that seem spiritual but are actually emotional residue masked by routine? This is a call to examine your identity, not just in Christ, but in what you still carry, knowingly or unknowingly. Are you walking with unforgiveness, people-pleasing, comparison, or silent shame? 🔥 It’s time to surrender that baggage at the feet of the Cross. Let the Holy Spirit lead you into wholeness and truth. Your identity is not found in what left you or what hurt you, but in Who saved you.
