"Identity That Unifies Us" // Jn. 17, Phil. 3, Eph. 2,4 (Sunday 11/3/24)

This All Saints Sunday, we reflect on those "saints" in our lives, imperfect people who left us a legacy and inspired us in our faith. Those who went before us and lived lives of grace remind us of who WE really are: “You are a chosen people. You are royal priests (saints!), a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” (1 Peter 2:9) And this identity, who we really are, is more important than any other identities we might hold to. It's the one true identity that enables us to be united in a community of diversity. This Sunday, we kick off a new series called "UNITED" as we approach the contentious election season with love, faith, humility, and grace for one another.
