Think back to a moment when you felt inadequate or unworthy. Maybe it was just this past week, or sometime in the last month. Hold that memory in your mind for a moment—that attempt at “identity theft” when something tried to tell you that you are less than God says you are. Today’s scriptures speak clearly and powerfully against that lie. They remind us that in Jesus Christ, God has declared you—and all of us—to be enough. In fact, more than enough. Because if you are following Christ, God has already claimed you as His own beloved child.
