"Idolizing Busyness" | Ep. 23 Called and Unqualified

Hey, Friends! Our culture has been telling us to prioritize mental health, but we have also been encouraged to glorify exhaustion. Why does our culture do this? The comparison of social media and the increase of those who have plans after college creates the comparison between us to tempt us to over perform. Unless we're sleepless and exhausted, we can't possibly be doing our best, right? This actually is very selfish, because we place our own success, plans, and wants above serving and ministering to others, and in extreme cases, even before our relationship with Jesus.
