iEDM Radio Episode 140: Massivedrum

Bio Ricardo Rodrigues aka “Massivedrum” found his passion for music at a very early age. He was only 10 years old when he first started mixing. Like almost every DJ he first played at school and private parties. At the age of 16 he had his first residence at a Bar in Lisbon, Portugal in 1996. Many residences follow, and today he is playing at Estado Chic, one of the most popular clubs at the south side of the river Tejo, near Lisbon. By the year 2000, Massivedrum started to produce his own tracks. Between 2000 and 2004 Massivedrum won more than 5 contests for the Portuguese Dance Music magazine Dance Club. After those wins, several labels contact him. Till now Massivedrum has released lots of Originals and remixes and he is now part of the catalog of such labels as Stereo Productions, Younan Music, Magna Recordings, SoundGroove Records, Magnetica Recordings, Loop 128 Records, Queep Organic House, Hypno Music, UC Dark Side, Dasound Records among others. His major hit was the now popular track “Fingerprint” with the collaboration of the guitarist Danny Guitar.
