If Christ is King (Faith, West Columbia)

We live in a nation that lifts up our individuality as an idol, and pushes an angry guy false god as the deity of a cultural religion that has many people convinced that to be Christian means to pick and choose who's in and who's out. This false god is vengeful, and even its love looks like wrath.What would it look like if we professed the one true God whose love looks loving as loudly as those who declare that false god who is just waiting to beat us down and punish us forever?Do we even dare to hope for a God whose love looks like love?When we do, the Spirit stirs something powerful inside of us. So powerful was this stirring that a LUTHERAN spoke and answered questions during the sermon that I expected to be rhetorical! If Christ is King, we can hope for even greater things than these!Support the show
