If Grief Had a Face: Love, Loss and The Cycles of Grief
from The Light Inside · host Jeffrey Besecker
Life. -It moves at times; in stages and cycles. Each instant a moment which often is etched into our brains. Sometimes even keeping us stuck to our past reminiscences and even rumination. This then becoming a roller coaster of feedback loops; and much to our dismay, throughout this thing we call life - At some point, we will all experience the cycles of grief. Whether illness, disaster, or death of a loved one, most of us go through at least one traumatic event in our lifetimes. Events that cause us despair and a deep, often lingering sense of loss: And perhaps with to a lesser frequency- Grief surfaces in such situations as the loss of a job, a career, of in our sense of innocence- as one experiences trauma; or even in losing some sense of our personal identity. Today we courageously look grief in the face, so that we might examine some of the various ways in which it surfaces throughout our lives. FEATURED GUESTS: JENNIFER M.
