If Grief Had a Face: Love, Loss and The Cycles of Grief

Life. -It moves at times; in stages and cycles. Each instant a moment which often is etched into our brains. Sometimes even keeping us stuck to our past reminiscences and even rumination. This then becoming a roller coaster of feedback loops; and much to our dismay, throughout this thing we call life - At some point, we will all experience the cycles of grief. Whether illness, disaster, or death of a loved one, most of us go through at least one traumatic event in our lifetimes. Events that cause us despair and a deep, often lingering sense of loss: And perhaps with to a lesser frequency- Grief surfaces in such situations as the loss of a job, a career, of in our sense of innocence- as one experiences trauma; or even in losing some sense of our personal identity.
