2 Peter 1:3-11 Character is what defines you, character is what people see in you. It is what people will say about you after you pass away. Character is one of the most important things you have. When you read the things that men and women value in each other, it is character always matters in the end. Peter, as he writes, is reminding people that God has given us the power to live godly lives. While we are always a work in progress (Phil 1:6) we should always be seeking greater spiritual maturity.
