If I'd known better, I would have done better. We need to remember that we did what we could at the time, with where we were. If I had known what I know now, I could have done things differently. When we ask ourselves that question, we can move beyond being crippled by our past. We are still responsible for our actions, but find we get less stuck. We can gather consciousness through questions. We grow, gather light and learn from adversity and what we might call a mistake.
