As a red-head farm kid, when his dad died, Lorne Brownmiller longed for something different. He knew God could have saved his dad, but when He let him pass away, Lorne didn't like the way God operated, so he gravitated towards rebellion. He lived to make money, and when he established a thriving night club in Whistler, he thought he had it made. However, he detected God interrupting what he wanted as his life began to unravel.
