If It Doesn’t Cost You, It’s Not Compassion
from Lane Brown @ Chandler Street Hosted by Lane Brown
Most people care… until it costs them. Jesus went all the way to the cross. Most people say they care. Jesus shows us what real compassion looks like. In this message from Matthew 9 and Matthew 16, we see that Jesus doesn’t just feel for people—He moves toward them, even when it costs Him everything. This sermon will challenge you to rethink compassion, mission, and what it truly means to follow Jesus. Because real compassion doesn’t stay comfortable. It moves. It sacrifices. It goes all the way to the cross. If you’ve ever wondered why your faith feels stuck… or what it really looks like to live like Jesus… this message is for you.
