If it’s not intersectional, it’s not working: Overcoming Barriers and Driving Difference - Episode 9

When it comes to parity for women, it’s no secret things aren’t progressing as quickly as they should. Just look at McKinsey’s 2021 Women in the Workplace study: for every 100 men promoted, only 86 women are. Then when you view this through an intersectional lens, the situation’s even worse. Between entry level and C-suite, representation of women of colour drops off by more than 75%. And that’s just one example. So, this week, we tackle the topic of intersectionality – and why it’s fundamental to improving the workplace for all women.
