How many of us can say we nailed the goal we set for ourselves when we were 10 years old and seemingly limitless? Well Jimmy Farris sure did. In 2001 he signed his first NFL contract with the San Francisco 49rs and spent 7 years living his dream as a pro athlete, even snagging a Super Bowl with the Patriots.  Though at 30 his dream was over and his professional NFL career had run it's course... then what?  Who are we when that which has been our passion, purpose and identity for almost a decade has been stripped away from us?
