When believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and His works cease to move FORWARD with Him, they slide backward. It is quite simple. There can not be a place with no movement at all. Either we are moving forward with Jesus Christ, or we are moving away from Him and backslidding. Either we are choosing Him and His ways moment for moment, or else we have strayed away from Him. We are either listening to His voice and obeying Him, or we are hearing other voices and are now in confusion. God is not the author of confusion.
