"If the trust isn't there, it just won't work" - Matt, James & Jimmy | The Scaffolders

"If the trust isn't there, it just won't work" In this episode, Seb chats with one of our scaffolding gangs. Matt, James and Jimmy have been working together for some time now and have become quite the team! They discuss how the scaffolding industry has changed over the years, and how each of their careers has progressed up to this point! Jimmy is currently training to become a part-one scaffolder and discusses with Seb just how important it is for young people to see the potential career progression outside of working on the tools. Trust and communication were also a big topic of communication, as the boys discussed how important it is to have a great relationship with those you work with, especially at height! "It is both a mentally and physically demanding job so we all help each other, push each other and it keeps us strong." The Spotlight Sessions is a brand new podcast series from Embassy Site Services. Using this podcast, we will discuss the most important issues surrounding the scaffolding and roofing industry as well as construction as a whole, with some of the industry’s leading figures.
