If We All Just Got It Right

V1: These days I spend time wonderin’ If we’re all just out of tune And all’s we’d need is a little tunin’ up But this dissonance I hear Among the human race Has got some harmony behind it bubblin’ up V2: Imagine for a minute If we all found common ground Around what’s beautiful, good and true... A future where we’re all in love With the fact that we’re all one Imagine all the great things we could do CHORUS: If we all, just got it right What would it feel like to get it it right If we all-imagined-all-of-us Flourishing and free Imagine what a life this could be V3: And what if education became something all kids love Where testing was replaced with building skills Where imagination, play and curiosity Was part of learning, this would help them get off pills! V4: Imagine if our work day was just three times a week And the rest was spent on doin’ the things we loved Like connecting with community, friends and family How many other things can you think of? CHORUS V5: What if instead of growing We focused on things thriving On healing and protecting life on earth (pick it up) Where instead of GDP the measure of success Was the well being of humanity….and ALL life for Pete’s sake!
