If You Stop Lying You Will Start Living

Lies originate from the father of lies, the Devil.  Those who practice lying are his off-spring.  Yes, there may be fervent denial, and tipid attempts to deflect the truth, but lies kill.  There is no other way to put it.  Lies are built upon a platform of pride.  Liars do not care or understand that the tissues of the brain are transformed by their lies.  There are specific neuropathways that become a dedicated network for lies.  Lies can become an intrinsic defining characteristic of the personality.  Read the history of the devil in the Bible!
