If You Want To Be Changed

Some people want to change. They want to become a better person. They’re trying to change, but they find that they’re getting worse. You know, Paul the Apostle said, “I know in the inner man what to do, and I delight in the thought of doing it, but I find another law inside of me warring against this law in my mind.” He goes on to define it as “the law of sin and death.” He concludes his essay, in a sense, by saying, “Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” And he finishes with one statement: “I thank God through Jesus Christ, my Lord.” In other words, there is deliverance through Jesus Christ. If you want to be changed, you need the power of God’s Holy Spirit, who comes into your life when you open your heart and accept the sacrifice that Christ made on the cross for your sins. Talk to God about it today. It’s time to pray.
