He is known by revelation. And that revelation is not vague, shadowy, or abstract. God has spoken in His Son. Jesus does not merely talk about God; He is the One who perfectly reveals Him. If you want to know what God is like, look at Jesus.   This episode opens up the Scriptures to show that CHRiSt is the image of the invisible God, the exact representation of His essence, and the One through whom God is made visible to man. The resurrection vindicated that work. Sin has been dealt with. Death has been defeated. New creation has begun. And now, through CHRiSt, we do not merely learn about God from a distance. We are brought into union and fellowship with Him.   This is clear truth. This is sound doctrine.
