If You're Not Growing then You're Dying

26: I heard this saying from Bob Proctor - The moment you graduate from college, you're obsolete. Essentially it means if you're not growing, you're dying. I don't have a college degree and I got kicked out from high school.⠀ ⠀ 🙏Quite honestly, thank God my soul had the foresight and didn't make me go through the agony only to not use my degree. That being said, even though I didn't get the traditional education, I'm constantly upgrading and learning. I'm always curious. And I think I'm not bounded by the traditional education system, my mind works in a different way. I'm always thinking of other ways of doing something and what's the most efficient way of doing things because I don't have a rule book.⠀ ⠀ 💁‍♀️It has also made me very open to new ideas because you don't know what you don't know and if you think you know it all, it's a dangerous place to be in. The world is huge and there's no way we can learn everything in one life time. The scientists and NASA are constantly finding new things so why should we stop learning.⠀ ⠀ 👌Just because it doesn't fit into your believe system, doesn't mean it's not true. When we're open to learning, we stop judging and become more accepting of others. We attack what we don't understand because that's a threat to our believe system.  🌈So if we drop our guards and just be genuinely interested in one another, the world will be in a much better place for all of us!⠀ ⠀ ❤Elyse-Anne
