IFBB Pro Christina Bitner: The Next Dream

from The Women's Fittest Podcast · host Debra Jean Terpstra

Send us Fan MailThanks for listening to another episode of The Women’s Fittest Podcast! This is episode #128 Interview with IFBB pro Christina Bitner. This interview was near and dear to my heart because Christina is a beautiful woman that I get to call friend. I first interviewed her on the podcast two years ago (my second guest ever) and the follow up today was a culmination of many topics we’ve talked about privately over the last couple years. Mainly, how difficult competing on the pro level is and what happens after bodybuilding. So, what’s next? What does that look like, what does that feel like. What does recognizing there’s a physical identity in this sport that we will eventually have to let go of to some degree feel like. Christina and I talk about all of this including her next big dream she’s embarking on. Topics:Her competition historyCompeting on the pro level Eating like a “normal person” The Scale Her upbringing and losing both her parents How she gained 5 kids basically overnight Body image and perspective Hyper mobile joints and bodybuilding and her shoulder issues Having something else besides bodybuilding for after bodybuildingThe baby making journey Trying to not care so much about other peoples opinions on your bodyMentions:@weightsncakes@jenniferreedfitt@delanehart_physiques@michaelaaycock@ifbbprokiraneuman@johnjewett3@shelbystarnes100@julsfit10Subscribe to The Women’s Fittest podcast as new episodes drop every Monday and throughout the week.
