El intelectual español analiza la dinámica de los medios de comunicación y plantea los desafíos de la TV y la gráfica frente a las nuevas tecnologías. Asegura que "no hay opinión pública sin medios masivos", pero advierte que a partir de las redes sociales cada usuario es en sí mismo un medio de comunicación. Esta es la conferencia central del II Encuentro de Televisoras Públicas de América Latina, realizado en Buenos Aires, los días 6 y 7 de Junio de 2013, en diálogo con los periodistas Luis Alberto Quevedo y Pedro Brieguer.
