Ignite | Disciples Ignite, Intercede, and Influence | Nathan Bentley
from LifePoint Church AZ Hosted by LifePoint Church
In this sermon, Pastor Nathan calls the church into a holy reset through fasting and revival, inviting us into a focused season of consecration from January 4–25. Fasting is not about earning God’s favor or manipulating outcomes—it’s about surrender. In a culture of comfort and constant consumption, fasting weakens the flesh and sharpens our spiritual hunger, creating space to hear God clearly and encounter His presence deeply. Whether abstaining from food or laying down another comfort, the heart of fasting is dependence—declaring that God alone sustains us. The message presses deeper into the connection between surrender and revival, reminding us that fire only falls where there is fuel. Pastor Nathan challenges the church to let go of habits, comforts, and patterns that quench the Spirit and instead embrace prayer, repentance, and corporate hunger. Drawing from Scripture, personal stories, and voices like Leonard Ravenhill, this sermon is a wake-up call: revival does not begin in crowds—it begins in hearts. As the church fasts, prays, and fills the altar again, the Holy Spirit ignites a fire meant not just to transform individuals, but to impact an entire community.
