Ignite Your Life with Laura Diaz

What if “adventure” didn’t mean Everest level terror, but adding cinnamon to your tea, taking the scenic route home, or learning one new phrase in Portuguese (bom dia, anyone)? In this episode, Vickie chats with Laura Diaz, retreat leader in Peru and founder of Ignite Your Life, whose journey stretches from Minnesota memories and Mean Girl phone calls to jungle treks, Machu Picchu magic, and a Facebook group designed to nudge you off the couch and into wonder. Laura shares The belief that shaped her (“People don’t like me”) and how she rewrote it, layer by oniony layer (thanks, Donkey)The “Everest Problem” and why your nervous system needs a sweet spot, not a summit. How micro adventures wake up your reticular activating system and your joy. The behind the scenes tale of rescuing a retreat with motorcycles, a machete wielding abuela, and a cosmic coincidence. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to start small (or go big), this is it. Drop your questions for Laura in the comments, join her Ignite Your Life community, and let today be the day you choose the unknown, even just a smidge. Adventure’s not out there; it’s already knocking.
