I was playing video games since when I was 10 or so and always learned a lot thanks to video games; they inspired my curiosity, they tuaght me english and, most important, they taught me how to build one of those magic bridges between the player and the screen: music. My music is not simply influenced by video games but it is made, for the most part at least, by video games. Video games and their soundtracks were my shelter when I was going through very, very bad times... I have to be honest, it wasn't a good thing: those days video games were the world where I was hiding and even if I don't regret it (and never will), I have to admit it wasn't good choice but simply a mechanism of self-defense: I was not ready for the outside world. Luckily, I pulled myself out from those dark days, avoiding some very sad "alternative endings" I was very close to and I remember the main reason why I started reacting (after a half year mostly spent starring at the floor, without even playing vgs) was because I felt that I reached the bottom and the only thing I could do was going up: what a great feeling! I understood I couldn't just give up but I had at least to try do something, to build that world I wasn't able to find outside myself: that day I started feeling a fire inside my heart and mind that I can't even express with words... Starting from making music, to everything else I could do, I was searching passionately for EVERY tool, skill or situation could help me understand this interior universe I wanted to bring out of my inner world. I started playing different instruments without having any lesson or learning a single cover (oh mammamia) but only and always trying to make something personal and original: not because I wanted to be different but because I had to express something I had not heard yet! I did A LOT of mistakes and took bad habits but I don't regret it, I followed a path very few followed learning many, many different things. I have more than 1000 (and I'm not exaggerating) files between riffs and songs I made since those years: most of them are kinda bad but I still remember many of them and I like to mumble them from time to time. These are great times for me: I have been rewarded with Fabrica ( www.fabrica.it) scolarship (2017/2018), where I produced music for very cool projects (documentaries, movies and installation arts) as long as commercials, backstages, fashion shows and many, many other things including works under Oliviero Toscani, Benetton (new collection 2018), Domori, Rossi & Rei, Imago Mundi, De Poda and many other [ I delivered more than 120 works in a year ] I'm finishing university in Computer science (Pisa). I've started my collaboration with Twin Wolves Studio, great guys I worked with for the upcoming Liz: Before the Plague, a VR experience for which I composed an adaptive modular soundtrack. I'm making my first video game along with a friend of mine, Samuele Bandini ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/samuele-b... ), who's an amazing concept artist and creative mind. I'm working for small companies and privates providing them with photos, graphics, marketing plans, websites and more. I'm producing my first album with my ~alternative rock band, The Weaver (and it's going to be GREAT! :D ). ...I'm about to have a nervous breakdown but I never felt so alive and proactive in my entire life! Today I'm ready to be the one that build the bridge. This composition is a big thanks to video games and bridge builders. Alberto
