Ilka's Kitchen, A Hungarian Cookbook Memoir

On this episode of the Hungarian Heritage podcast, I will be talking with Ilka Kocsis and she is the author of Ilka’s Kitchen, a Hungarian cookbook, but not the usual type of cookbook that you would encounter on the bookshelf.  Ilka’s Kitchen is also a memoir with her personal memories and family stories woven in between the recipes. It is a cookbook that is masterfully created to honor her Hungarian Heritage through her family’s journey to Australia, her personal memories of her Hungarian heritage and experiences, and of course, her love of cooking Hungarian food.
