"I'll Be Home for Christmas" is a Christmas song written by the lyricist Kim Gannon, composed by Walter Kent and recorded by Bing Crosby in 1943. It was originally written to honor soldiers overseas who longed to be home at Christmas time. The cover art is a cropped photo of a 1940 oil-on-canvas painting labeled "Untitled (Cloud Topped Mountain)" by the English-born American 20th Century artist, Percy Manser. It is displayed at the Portland Art Museum.
