Illegal Dumping And Burning Of Rubbish In Kilkishen

Concerns are growing in East Clare following another incident of illegal dumping in the Kilkishen area, where a large quantity of household waste was discovered—some of which appears to have been deliberately set on fire at the roadside. Kilkishen Tidy Towns has strongly condemned the incident, saying burning rubbish is “never the answer” and highlighting the environmental and community impact of illegal dumping. The issue comes amid wider calls across Clare for stronger enforcement, with discussions ongoing about the potential use of CCTV in known dumping blackspots.
