Illini Offensive Line Crisis Deepens | Illinois Fighting Illini Football News

Illinois’ offense is in crisis after losing key lineman TJ McMillen for the season to a fractured foot, just days after a tough loss to Duke. With starters Brandon Henderson and Maika Matelau also sidelined, the Illini’s depth will be tested as Brandon Hansen, Eddie Tuerk, and Dez Schuster step up. Quarterback Katin Houser, who showed promise early against Duke, now faces an uphill battle protecting a shaky line. Saturday’s game against SIU could be their defining moment — proving they can adapt, overcome, and bounce back from this devastating blow.
