Illini Receivers in Flux Ahead of Season Opener | Illinois Fighting Illini Football News

Illini’s receiving corps is in trouble heading into the season opener, with top transfer Jayshon Platt likely sidelined for at least the first game—and possibly longer—while fellow transfer Alex Perry may miss the entire season. That leaves Collin Dixon and Hudson Clement as the de facto stars, with younger players like Brayden Trimble getting a shot to shine.
