#ILoveGay Today meets up with Derek Hartley of the Derek & Romaine Show (Romaine Patterson) and DNR Studios, based in in New York. Join us as we chat about Derek's history in the LGBTQ+ media world starting almost 30 years ago with PlanetOut and AOL. Since that time, Derek has helped pioneer LGBTQ+ radio while at SiriusXM, as part of OutQ. He and a number of LGBTQ+ podcasters are now part of his company, DNR Studios, where they help with both production and distribution of LGBTQ+ podcasts across a wide variety of niche markets. We also chat about DNR Travel and DNR Cruises, which helps to fund the podcast show and allows Derek to focus on what he loves rather than pursuing an ad-supported podcast network.
