#ILoveGay Today meets up with Dr. Matt R. Salmon, author of the upcoming book, Pride n Prejudice. Coming out next spring, Pride n Prejudice seeks to explore the intersection between religion, Republican politics and diversity, and how we should come together, find common ground, and celebrate our differences. As a queer, autistic kid growing up in a Republican, Mormon household, this book taps into Matt's life experiences and history, describing his process of working with his family as they evolved from intolerance of others' differences to embracing diversity in all of its forms. It marries his personal and professional experience to highlight the harms of marginalizing diversity and call for a move to celebrate it.
