#ILoveGay Today joins Gus Penaranda, Executive Director of the New Jersey Pride Chamber of Commerce. We chat about some of the exciting initiatives they have planned for 2023, as they continue to expand and grow, partnering with a wide variety of LGBTQ+ New Jersey organizations along the way. Gus tells us about their upcoming FIFA Summit on Sept 23, 2023. FIFA team members will discuss their diversity, equity and inclusion initiative and efforts to fend off discrimination at the 2026 World Cup. In addition, they're bringing back their LGBTQ+ Summit, held in conjunction with the 2023 League of Municipalities Conference, a unique event held in New Jersey every year. This groundbreaking summit will bring together all the state’s top LGBT+ leaders, State policymakers, Allied Organizations and Corporate Supplier Diversity leaders, who are each respected executives in their respective fields of advocacy, business, education, and sports.
