Ilusion / 幻想

Below is Nicovideo video description: https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm33401457 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I completely missed the timing to release "Illusion," the theme song from Final Fantasy X's Farplane. I started creating this song around the same time I made the arrangement for Besaid Island (maybe 2003), but I gave up because I couldn't transcribe the B section by ear. Then, 10 years later, I tried again, using the same tools I used for transcribing music in Mabinogi. However, I still couldn't read the B section, so the bass in particular sounds unnatural. I added the guitar riff around this time, but I realized it was a fake score when I was making Links, recorded obvilion, so it was shelved. (There are other songs with similar issues.) I decided to just release it. In the end, it took about 15 years from the start of creation to release. Even so, I wonder if anyone remembers this music from FF10? I think it was included as background music on the developer interview DVD that came with the first-edition PS2 version. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Since the original MIDI data was lost, I extracted it from a video uploaded to YouTube and remastered it.
