I'm Calling In Dead This Week

Jeremy & Jimmy are back! It’s one of those weeks where corporate life feels like a full‑contact sport. Jeremy and Jimmy kick things off talking about how chaotic last week was — the kind of chaos that makes you want to “call in dead” instead of calling in sick. With a holiday this week, they break down the guaranteed wave of coworkers who will mysteriously “come down with something” on Wednesday… even though everyone heard them bragging about their plans all last week. Then they dive into the office legends who take a vacation and pretend to be sick at the end just to squeeze out one more day of PTO or a fake work‑from‑home day. They also tackle the PTO doomsday preppers — the people who hoard vacation hours like they’re stocking a bunker, panic‑spend PTO at the end of the year, or treat rollover deadlines like the corporate Hunger Games. It’s a full episode of workplace nonsense. For more, visit www.abovemypaygradepodcast.com
