I'm Gay. So How Do I Repent of Who I Am?

In this episode, I take you on a history lesson of how the idea that one's sexual desires define them as a person came about. I know personally what it is like to experience same-sex attraction at a young age, and that it can make you think it defines you as a person. I also understand if you have come to that acceptance of yourself – often after years of shame and bullying – to hear that you need to repent can sound like your very humanity is being threatened. You can’t repent of you.   But are you defined by your sexual desires? That question alone can stir up anger inside of you. I get that. But remember: I’ve walked where you walk.
