I'm Glad Emojis Don't Pop Up Over My Head

from The Renegade Writer's Mouthy Musings · host The Mouthy Renegade Writer

S2E2: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy MusingsHello, Y’all!Happy Thursday to you. I hope all is well and you’re enjoying this second day of 2025. I just got back from walking Mooch and had an interesting thought after walking by our MAGA neighbor’s house. They’re those weirdos who have a large Trump 2024 flag stapled on their house. Above the garage. Yeah…Fortunately, I don’t see them outside often. I was imagining what it would be like if we had emojis that popped up above our heads each time we were happy, sad, angry, or frustrated. I’d certainly have a pissy-faced emoji if I looked their way and saw that flag.Fortunately, I have a hell of a poker face. I can be friendly to anyone, even knowing what I know about their politics or religion. Unless they come at me first with a shit attitude, I can generally get along with anyone. But hey, let me tell you about it in today’s podcast rather than type some long diatribe about it. Thank you for lending me your ears, as always. I appreciate it so much! &:^)If you enjoyed this episode, please consider becoming a paid subscriber.
