I'm Not Sure Why so Many Around Me Have Anxiety

#anxiety #suffering (Questioner) I've just started to start studying Buddhism. So I have a long way to go. One of the questions is just come up for me today is " Do you think that anxiety is a western society problem? I seem to be hearing a lot of people including friends and work colleagues often mentioning how they are suffering from anxiety. Or do you think people are misinterpreting the word for anxiety? I just feel everyone i know has anxiety.
