That's because we both have this idea about life that we want others to treat us well when in reality, we should treat others well. If you want to know how well your relationships are going, whether it's someone that you work with someone, you're in an intimate relationship, or a child, notice the way that you talk to them. Because what you say to them reveals your truth. If you're always talking about what they're doing instead of what you're doing, it means you have the relationship turned around. That's because you're more focused on what they're doing. After all, you want them to make you happy. And instead of you choosing what's best for you to do, you talk about what you can do to become the best person you can be.
