In this episode of Can’t Find My Way Home, I was joined by Amelia Judd and Michael Woods. Both guests are currently living and working in Busan, South Korea, but hail from the UK and US respectively. We initially planned on recording this pod to coincide with the ‘New Normality’ Art Exhibition that both of them had contributed works to...but we couldn’t get the dates to work. Nevertheless, we talk EXPAT journeys, some great stories and locations... how they both got into ART, what mediums and styles they like to use…from illustration to the more classic - fine arts Who inspires them artistically - from Frida Kahlo to Bob Ross…and the Italian Masters… Later on, we hear how the New Normality Exhibition came to fruition...and how it was relatively easy to choose a theme...the name might give you a hint… Michael and Amelia describe the pieces they created for the exhibition and working to a tight deadline. As well as plans for more exhibitions in the New Year And we also ponder algorithms, demographics and just who is using what type of social media…And are Czechs and South Koreans more similar than we might think?
